There is just something about lighthouses and rocks by a shoreline: they are always there for us. This just "felt" romantic to me. My sweetheart of going on 40 years, has always been there for me, like the lighthouse. Jesus, the light of my life, has always been there for me. Light = warmth = warm fuzzies = comfort = stability......Yep, that's the romance..........Always Here for You.

Two scriptures came to mind when meditating on this beautiful artistic work: Matthew 28:20 - "Lo, I am with you always, even to the ends of the earth." and also, Psalm 66:20 - "Blessed be God, Who has not rejected my prayer nor removed His mercy and loving-kindness from being [as it always is] with me."
Also I was reading in a devotional book I have and came across something that reminded me of your lighthouse paintings. It said, "Fill me to overflowing with Your Holy Spirit so that my life is energized to be a lighthouse to draw others to You." Cool, huh?
