Years ago, an artist friend who bought one of my originals told me "original art on your walls changes your life". This is so true. Our artistic influences come from many directions, but seeing art we love and admire on our walls day to day makes us grow and change as artists in ways we might not otherwise.

I too have several spots in my home where I've hung fellow artists' work I love. And when I receive a birthday gift of cash or have made lots of recent sales, I splurge and add another piece I love to the collection.
