Donna, as you know, I have started praying and asking the Lord to speak to me through your paintings, to let me see below the surface. He revealed many things to me about "Beacon of Light, Marblehead" which I e-mailed to you. As it was rather lengthy, I will only share here the highlights: I saw in this painting the oneness between our Lord and His Bride, the Church: In the bright blue sky, the lighthouse and the whiteness of it, and the branches, I saw the divine brightness of Christ and the brightness of His Bride; I saw how He is the Light of the world, and how every Believer is also the light of the world;
I saw Him as the Righteous Branch of the Old Testament and His Church as the branches of the New Testament. (Mark 9:2,3; Proverbs 4:18; Revelation 19:7,8; Matthew 5:14-16; I Peter 2:9; Isaiah 4:2; Jeremiah 23:5; Zechariah 3:8, 6:12; Revelation 1:16; John 15:5)
I am tremendously blessed by your gift as an artist, and also by the spiritual side of this painting. I remember you saying one time that you wanted to see Jesus hidden in your paintings like the one you did several years ago; well, I think He is revealing Himself through the symbolism in your work. Since I have been praying, I have been seeing Jesus in every painting. There is truly an anointing that goes beyond the natural beauty of what you accomplish. I can't wait to see Jesus in your next painting!
