Just picked it up this week as an anniversary  gift for my husband.  It is amazing!  The people who framed it said it was the most  beautiful painting they had ever  had at their store to frame!  Many thanks! This little gem was done in "sepia" tones for a client several years ago.   When finished, it was amazing to both myself and the client in that this painting was taken from a tiny 2x3 inch school photo of her grandmother when she was 14.   The resemblance was stunning!

Completed about the same time frame as the one above was painted in oils.   The loving widow was so pleased.   So was I .  I had never met him, but after painting him and talking with his wife over a period of time as I worked on the painting, I felt as if I had known him.

My greatest supporter and loving father asked me to paint this photo of him and his sweetheart, my mother, whom he missed so much as she had passed away many years ago.  I am so glad Dad asked me to do this just a few years before he went on to be with the Lord.   I miss him terribly,  but life goes on.  At least I do have things like this to remind me of them and also my sweet memories.
